This four day package is designed for someone who has never tried skiing or snowboarding before and is all about making learning to ski or ride easy and fun. The days do not need to be used consecutively. Intro to Snow can also be upgraded to a Season Pass upon completion of all four days.
What's Included in the Mt Hutt Season Pass
This season pass provides holders with unlimited skiing and snowboarding at Mt Hutt only for the 2019 season during the standard operating hours of 9am - 4pm. In addition holders are entitled to a $20 discount for adults and $15 discount for youths and seniors on the standard day pass rates at Coronet Peak and The Remarkables. 20% Discount at Ohau Ski Field. 10% discount at the ski repair workshop (this offer does not apply to sale items or other special offers and you must present your pass at time of purchase) 2018 and 2019 Season Pass holders can ski for FREE at the Kiroro Ski Resort for the duration of their stay at the Kiroro Resorts - Sheraton Hokkaido Kiroro Resort or The Kiroro. Or if you are staying in other accommodation nearby – you are eligible for one free all-day lift pass at Kiroro Ski Resort.

How do the Instalment Payments Work?
By selecting to make payment by the instalment option, the customer hereby agrees to: NZSki Limited (NZSki) retaining the customer's credit card details and automatically charging the customer's credit card in six (if a 3 Peak Pass or Mt Hutt Season Pass was purchased in the Early Bird sale from 25th September 2018 - 31st January 2019) or three (if a 3 Peak Pass or Mt Hutt Season Pass was purchased in the Early Bird sale from 1st February - 4th April 2019) equal instalments. A 3% surcharge is charged for all instalment payments. There is a minimum total purchase amount required for the instalment payment option of $299 per total transaction. The first instalment will be charged at the time of purchase (only available during the Early bird sales periods of 25th Sept 2018 – 4th April 2019) and the remaining instalments on the above dates.
First Tracks Add-On
The corduroy is calling! Mt Hutt First Tracks provides access to the Summit Six Express lift and Quad Chair Lift on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am to 9am from early July, through to late in the 2019 season. The operation of First Tracks is subject to weather conditions and ski area operations, that may result in lift closure. Please be aware that access to trails is also subject to operational requirements. Mt Hutt First Tracks offer access to Mt Hutt only, if you are a 3 Peak Pass holder and would like to access First Tracks at both Mt Hutt and Coronet Peak, the Coronet Peak First Tracks add-on must be purchased in addition. First Tracks at Coronet Peak provides access to the Coronet Express lift from 8am-9am daily, from late June/early July, through to late in the 2019 season. Operation of First Tracks at Coronet Peak is also subject to weather conditions and ski area operations. Coronet Peak does not guarantee the operation of First Tracks on any particular day of the 2019 season.
Pass Protection costs $40 and can be added to your season pass purchase. Pass protection is your injury/medical cover and provides for full or partial refund of the season pass where an injury or medical condition precludes or significantly limits ability to use the pass throughout the entire season.
Refunds and Transfers
All applications for refund must be made by completing the NZSki season pass refund form available from any Guest Service desk. The form must be supported with a doctor's certificate or other evidence acceptable to NZSki. NZSki reserves the right to obtain independent medical advice to validate any claim. The value of refunds will be calculated based on the use of the pass according to the table below and in conjunction with the following expiry dates. There will be no refunds after 6 weeks from the pass holders first day of pass use. There will be no refunds after 31 August of each season. Refunds extend to the value of the pass type purchased only and do not cover any ancillary or other associated costs. The pass protection add-on is regarded as an ancillary cost. Refunds will be made to the credit card used to purchase the pass and the pass will be cancelled.
Cancellation and Refunds
Any changes to credit card details must be advised to NZSki by email firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone (+64 3 450 1970) at least five working days prior to the instalment due date. This includes notification of new card expiry dates. NZSki will not be responsible for failure by the customer to make payment on the due date for any reason. Cancellation and Refunds: Season Passes are non-refundable from the date of the first payment under any circumstances unless the Injury/Medical cover option has been purchased.
Issue and collection
Season Passes will not be issued or available for use or collection until full payment of all instalments has been received. To collect your pass you can visit any of our Guest Services locations, please bring with you a form of photographic ID, such as a Driver’s licence, for verification. Your profile picture will be taken upon collection of your pass and your pass issued. If you have purchased for multiple people, please find your confirmation email along to collection and ensure all those that require a pass are present in order for their photograph to be taken. If you have previously had a day pass, or season pass with us and still have your card from previous years, you do not need to visit Guest Services to collect your pass. This will be loaded to your current mypass card and will give you access to the lifts on your first day skiing. For additional locations to collect your pass other than Guest Services on the mountain, please see opening dates and times below. Default of payment
If any instalment payment is not made e.g. due to the credit card payment being declined or reversed, NZSki reserves the right to charge a default administration fee of $35 per card transaction.
Evidence of full-time enrolment is required at the time of pass collection by presenting your valid photographic, student ID card, with proof of full time status. To qualify for our student rates you must be enrolled at a New Zealand or Australian tertiary institution full time. BCITO cards and apprenticeships are not accepted. Please note that all student passes must be verified at Guest Services before any access to the lifts is granted. If you have re-loaded your mypass card from previous years with a student season pass, you will need to visit Guest Services to verify your student status before accessing the lift gates.
Age is as of 1st June 2019. Youth is 6 – 17yrs inclusive. If currently attending high-school and is 18 years, a Student Pass applies. Under 5yrs and under ski or ride for free at Coronet Peak and The Remarkables. 10yrs and Under ski or ride free at Mt Hutt. All lift users require a MyPass card. Photographic ID will be required. Student is 18+yrs enrolled full time (minimum 32 weeks in a calendar year) with a New Zealand or Australian tertiary institution. Student ID & proof of full time status (letter from institution) is required. ID card must be in English & include a valid expiry date. ISIC cards are not accepted. Senior is 65–74yrs of age. Photo ID will be required. 75yrs of age or older, on day of purchase, ski for free. Please collect a complimentary lift pass from the ticket office. Photo ID will be required.
Discounted Private Lessons for 3 Peak Pass
If you purchase a 3 Peak Season Pass before April 5 2019 you are entitled to a discounted 2 hour or 3 hour private lesson at Coronet Peak and The Remarkables in Queenstown. 2 Hour Private Lessons are available for $199 and 3 Hour Private Lessons are available for $299. This discount is only available to those who purchase a 3 Peak Pass before 5th April 2019. Please note July is our peak period and all bookings are subject to availability. These Private Lesson discounts are also only available to Adult, Senior, Student and Child (6-17) age groups. The discount voucher will be uploaded to your mypass account, to be redeemed once only in the 2019 season.
